Make this quick, high-protein ranch dip using Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise or sour cream. It takes less than five minutes to mix together.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (2% or full fat recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons cold water or milk (optional, for thinning)

Instructions

  1. Measure all dry spices (parsley, chives, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper) into a medium bowl.
  2. Add the Greek yogurt and fresh lemon juice to the bowl.
  3. Whisk all ingredients together until completely combined and smooth.
  4. If the dip is too thick for your liking, whisk in cold water or milk one teaspoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  5. Taste the dip and adjust salt or pepper if needed. Serve immediately or chill for 15 minutes for flavors to meld.

Notes

  • For a stronger flavor, use 1/2 teaspoon of dried onion flakes instead of onion powder.
  • This dip pairs well with raw vegetables, pita bread, pretzels, or potato chips.
  • If you have fresh herbs available, substitute 1 tablespoon of each fresh herb for the dried versions.
