Ingredients
Scale
1 French baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup Brie cheese, thinly sliced
1/4 cup apple, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon chopped walnuts (optional)
Fresh thyme sprigs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush both sides with olive oil.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
Remove from oven and top each crostini with a slice of Brie cheese.
Return to the oven for 2-3 minutes, or until the Brie is softened.
Arrange the apple slices over the Brie.
Drizzle with honey.
Sprinkle with chopped walnuts, if using.
Garnish with fresh thyme sprigs, if desired.
Notes
For a richer flavor, you can lightly toast the walnuts before adding them.
If Brie is too soft to slice, you can scoop it onto the crostini.
