Ingredients
Scale
2 oz Vodka
1 oz Chocolate Liqueur (e.g., Godiva or Creme de Cacao)
1 oz Irish Cream Liqueur (e.g., Baileys)
1/2 oz Chocolate Syrup, for garnish
Ice cubes
Instructions
Chill your martini glass. You can place it in the freezer for 10 minutes.
Add the vodka, chocolate liqueur, and Irish cream liqueur to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Seal the shaker and shake hard until the outside of the shaker is very cold, about 20-30 seconds.
Prepare your chilled glass by drizzling chocolate syrup around the inside rim and sides for a decorative swirl.
Strain the mixture from the shaker into the prepared martini glass.
Serve immediately.
Notes
For an extra rich flavor, use dark chocolate liqueur instead of milk chocolate.
If you prefer a thinner consistency, reduce the Irish cream by 1/4 oz.
For a chocolate espresso martini variation, substitute 1/2 oz of the Irish cream with 1/2 oz of cold espresso or strong coffee.
