A simple recipe for mixing cold brew coffee and lemonade to create a refreshing, caffeinated summer drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cold brew coffee concentrate
  • 1 cup prepared lemonade (sweetened or unsweetened)
  • 1/2 cup water (optional, for dilution)
  • Ice cubes
  • Simple syrup or honey (to taste, optional)
  • Lemon slices or mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare or gather your cold brew coffee concentrate and your preferred lemonade.
  2. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  3. Pour 1 part cold brew concentrate into the glass.
  4. Add 1 part lemonade to the glass.
  5. Stir the mixture gently to combine the coffee and lemonade.
  6. Taste the drink. If you prefer it sweeter, add simple syrup or honey slowly until the flavor balances to your liking.
  7. If the drink is too strong, add a splash of cold water.
  8. Garnish with a lemon slice or mint sprig before serving immediately.

Notes

  • The ratio of 1:1 cold brew to lemonade works well for a balanced flavor, but adjust based on the strength of your cold brew and the tartness of your lemonade.
  • For a sparkling version, substitute still lemonade with sparkling water mixed with lemon juice and sweetener.
  • Use a medium or dark roast cold brew for a stronger coffee flavor that stands up to the tartness of the lemon.
