Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 lemon, thinly sliced for topping
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, dried parsley, salt, and pepper.
Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Arrange the thin lemon slices on top of the buttered salmon.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The exact time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
Serve immediately. This is a perfect healthy fish meal for your family dinner.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a sprinkle of paprika or a dash of your favorite seasoning blend over the butter mixture.
If you want a slightly crispier top, briefly place the salmon under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
This recipe works well with asparagus or broccoli roasted right on the same sheet pan alongside the salmon.
