Make this easy, soft pull-apart bread loaded with fresh garlic, melted butter, and sharp Parmesan cheese. It is perfect for sharing as an appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12 ounce) package frozen yeast dinner rolls, thawed
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Lightly grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Place the thawed dinner rolls in a large bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the garlic butter.
  4. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the rolls. Gently toss the rolls until they are evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the coated rolls into the prepared loaf pan, allowing them to settle naturally.
  6. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the shredded Parmesan cheese over the top of the rolls.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the rolls are heated through and the top is golden brown.
  8. Remove the bread from the oven. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese over the hot bread immediately.
  9. Let the bread cool in the pan for 5 minutes before serving. You can pull the pieces apart directly from the pan.

Notes

  • Use fresh garlic for the best flavor in the butter mixture.
  • If you prefer a softer crust, cover the loaf pan loosely with aluminum foil for the first 15 minutes of baking.
  • You can substitute frozen yeast rolls with refrigerated biscuit dough, cutting the biscuits into quarters before tossing them in the butter.
