Make a rich, sweet, and spiced iced cold brew at home using a simple brown sugar cinnamon syrup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Cold Brew Concentrate
  • 1 cup Water (for dilution)
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup (recipe below)
  • Ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup Milk or Cream (optional, for topping)
  • For Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup:
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Make the syrup: Combine brown sugar, water, and ground cinnamon in a small saucepan.
  2. Heat the syrup mixture over medium heat, stirring until the sugar completely dissolves. Do not boil.
  3. Remove the syrup from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Let it cool completely. Strain if desired, though usually not necessary.
  4. Prepare the cold brew: Mix the cold brew concentrate with water in a pitcher or glass to dilute it to your preferred strength.
  5. Assemble the drink: Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  6. Pour the desired amount of brown sugar cinnamon syrup into the glass.
  7. Pour the diluted cold brew over the ice and syrup. Stir gently to combine.
  8. If using, slowly pour milk or cream over the top for a layered effect. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, use whole milk or heavy cream for the topping.
  • Adjust the syrup amount based on your sweetness preference. Start with less and add more if needed.
  • You can make the syrup ahead of time and store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
