A simple recipe for making a refreshing iced latte using espresso, honey, and almond milk at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots espresso (about 2 oz)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Brew your espresso shots and set them aside to cool slightly.
  2. In a small bowl or mug, combine the honey with about 1 tablespoon of the warm espresso. Stir until the honey dissolves completely into a syrup.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the almond milk over the ice.
  5. Pour the dissolved honey mixture over the almond milk.
  6. Slowly pour the remaining espresso shots over the top.
  7. Stir gently before drinking to combine the layers.

Notes

  • If you do not have an espresso machine, use 1/4 cup of very strong, chilled brewed coffee or cold brew concentrate instead of espresso.
  • For a slightly frothy texture, shake the almond milk and honey mixture vigorously in a sealed jar before adding ice and coffee.
  • Use a simple syrup made from honey and a little hot water if you prefer not to dissolve the honey directly in the espresso.
