Make a refreshing iced chai latte featuring a blend of spicy chai, sweet vanilla, and tart raspberry flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 chai tea bag or 2 teaspoons loose leaf chai
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons raspberry syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or syrup
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Steep the chai tea bag or loose leaf tea in 1/2 cup of boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove the tea.
  2. Allow the brewed chai concentrate to cool slightly.
  3. In a shaker or tall glass, combine the cooled chai concentrate, milk, raspberry syrup, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the ice cubes to the glass.
  5. Shake well or stir vigorously until the drink is thoroughly chilled and slightly frothy.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a stronger raspberry flavor, use homemade raspberry syrup made from fresh raspberries and sugar.
  • Adjust the amount of raspberry syrup and vanilla to match your preferred sweetness level.
  • Use cold milk for the best chilling effect.
